When you donate food or other essentials, you’re helping ensure that every neighbour who walks through our doors has access to fresh, nutritious options — not just canned goods.

How to Donate Food
Drop of donations directly at the Food Bank during our operating hours. If you have a large quantity of food or goods you’d like to donate, contact us and we’ll come pick up!

Location
We’re located at 1255 McPhee Ave in Courtenay, BC.
Ring the buzzer at our front door when you arrive and someone will come out to give you a hand.

Drop-Off Hours
Donations are gratefully accepted between 8:30 – 2pm Monday to Friday.
Our Most Needed Items
Shelf-Stable Foods

Canned proteins (tuna, salmon, chicken, beans, chili)

Peanut butter and nut butters

Canned fruits and vegetables

Pasta, rice, grains, and cereal

Fresh & Perishable Foods

Fresh produce, eggs, dairy, bread, and meat

We gladly accept all fresh foods — please bring them during weekday hours so they can go straight into refrigeration.

Giving Beyond Food
Your generosity can go further than groceries. We gratefully accept:

Gift cards to local grocery stores or gas stations

Office or warehouse supplies (contact us before dropping off)
